Step 2 - Post a job
- Log onto your new account
- Go to your Hirer Home
- Click post a new job
- When Posting a new job, there are a few things you should take into consideration. 1. make sure your title is good
- Your description of the task is equally important. The clearer you are the better the responses
- State how you'd like to be contacted
- Give a description of how long you think the task will take or how long you are prepared to pay for it
- See below some video tutorial.

Step 3 - Add a work preference
- Adding a work preference is very important as it is the only way you get the automatic matches sent to you.
- Make sure you pay attention to the title; put yourself in the hirers shoes. Would you contact you if you saw your profile?
- The category is important also. If you go to broad, people will be annoyed as the match is not they want, if you go to narrow you may not get matches
- Now describe what you do, like to do, but again make sure you have the hirer in mind. Perhaps read out the profile to a friend or a colleague so you get another opinion. We get a lot of feedback from hirers about some of the poorer profiles. They will not place jobs or hirer you if this area is not done well
- Your references are not as critical as is your profile description. The hirer can always ask yu for a reference later. Of course if you have some references, add them here
- With attachments, we only allow images at this stage. We have had many issues with embedded viruses in Word documents that we decided to remove this ability. Again, when you communicate with the hirer, you can exchange details then.
- See below some video tutorial.

Step 4 - Give Feedback
- Feedback is what drives myhelper.com.au and should be given by everyone.
- Online references are the new resume and people really appreciate if they get a good wrap.
- For you the Hirer, it is also brilliant when you can actually read some feedback others have given the Helper as this makes your decision easier.
- Trust is everything and references create trust!
